CVSSC is an AKC licensed specialty club located in the Richmond, VA area. We are a group of Sheltie owners, breeders, and fanciers. Many of our members are active in conformation and performance venues. We welcome new members, from new puppy owners to seasoned competitors.
The objectives of the club are to:
*encourage and promote quality in the breeding of Shetland Sheepdogs,
*promote and demonstrate the natural abilities of the breed,
*urge members to accept the breed standard as approved by the ASSA & AKC,
*provide educational opportunities for dog owners and breeders,
*conduct AKC dog shows & performance events.

Regular club meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the month, at 7:30pm. Meetings are in person at the Holiday Barn Pet Resorts in Glen Allen, and virtually. There are no meetings in July or December.
